As an award-nominated freelance journalist, speaker, editor, and creative who travels full-time as a digital nomad, I'm passionate about uncovering underreported stories and empowering marginalised voices through my work.
I thrive on adapting my writing style to fit any medium and platform, excelling at crafting in-depth features, concise comment pieces, and copywriting.
With a Master's in journalism and NCTJ accreditation from Kingston University and over three years of experience at press agencies, I honed my storytelling skills by producing short-form documentaries for platforms like YouTube, Facebook Watch, BBCThree, and Snapchat and contributed exclusive features to global outlets such as The Guardian and The Mirror.
Since 2019, I have specialised in covering sex and relationships, health, disability, and travel for publications like Glamour, Cosmopolitan, Dazed, Refinery29 UK, Huffington Post, Metro UK, The Telegraph, Insider, iNews, Telegraph, Healthline, and much more.
My work inspired two columns—'Disabled and Sexual' for The Unwritten and a guest series for Daily Dot's Cashmere Magazine. As an editor, I’ve freelanced for platforms like EachOther UK and JournoResources, shaping impactful stories.
As a press officer for Scleroderma and Raynaud's UK and an ambassador for Changing Faces UK, I organised awareness campaigns, delivered impactful talks, hosted podcasts, and trained new ambassadors to 'Tell Your Own Story.
I am an accomplished speaker and workshop host, delivering journalism training webinars for JournoResources and visiting universities as a guest speaker.
I am also an ACET-accredited sex educator passionate about highlighting taboo subjects and demystifying the world of sex, particularly the intersections of disability, trauma, and LGBTQ+ sex.
I apply my experiences of chronic illness, disability, and complex trauma to expose issues our society too often avoids. In short, I love using my work to have uncomfortable yet vital conversations that challenge societal norms.
